At the Memphis Spine Center we accept most insurance plans, however, as insurance does periodically change, we recommend that you call you insurance company if you have questions about network coverage. Please become familiar with the benefits provided by your medical insurance. We will do our best to answer your questions, but ultimately you are responsible for payment of the services provided. As a courtesy to our patients we do file insurance, and will not bill you directly for balance due until your insurance has processed your claim. We expect your timely assistance in clearing any residual unpaid balances. If you have any questions regarding your statement, please do not hesitate to contact our billing department for explanation and clarification. In this day and age, healthcare insurance processing can be a bewildering process.
Co-pays must be paid on the date of service. There are no exceptions. Most insurances require a copay for each and every visit. If you are self pay or are paying to meet your deductible, you must pay in full at time of service.
If your visit is related to an on-the-job injury, we must have approval from your Workman’s Compensation adjuster before an appointment can be made.
We do not participate in any Medicaid, Tenn Care, or Medicare Advantage plans either as primary or secondary insurance. If you have questions about this policy please feel free to contact our office manager for clarification.
